Message: ANyone know where to get a replacement battery (other than dealership) for 2001 with H.D. Service group?
The battery is a 27-60-A, 150 min reserve, 750CCA, and the dimensions of the case are:
12"Lx6-1/2"Wx8"H (about 9" at the post tops).
The closest I can find is an Everstart 27-6 deep-cycle marine battery with the extra posts that will not fit under the heat shield.

Message: You don't need the exact physical size, but you do need the same post location, and same or better cold amps. I'm a big fan of Sears Diehard. Their warranty and replacement program is top-notch.
