Subject: How do I know? IP: Logged
Message: In my relentless search to find the right Dak, I have encountered one that could be the one. But I wanted to know how to find out:
The gear ratio?
Limited Slip or not?
Darn it, I knew there was more, but I just cant think of em now. Anyways, if I come up with them I'll post em, any help would be appreciated, thanks! BTW it's a 2000 SLT CC 4.7 2wd Red(dont know the exact name of the color, anyone?) Again, thanks in advance for the help!

Message: There should also be a tag on the rear axle itself that tells the same info as in the glovebox. I think all the V8 Dakotas came with the 22 gallon tank, 24 on the quad cab, and 15 gallon on the 4 and V6, with the 22 gallon tank an option on the 4 and V6. I know my old V6 Dakota had the 15 gallon tank, which meant that I filled it up twice a week and could only go 200 miles before the low fuel light came on.
