Message: I thought about getting headers on my truck but a good friend of mine who builds race engines and has two drag cars he runs himself and runs his own repair shop told me it would be a bad mistake unless I wanted to go to the expense of getting them machined just for my truck. He said it was very hard to find headers that would not leak and blow gaskets. You might try doubling up on the gaskets but I don't think I would run without any. Bound to leak and defeat the whole purpose of having headers in first place. Unless all you want to do is make noise. There should be plenty of that.

Message: Use a gasket sealent. That is the only way to make it work.
