Message: if the a/c only works on high, then your blower motor resistor is shot. happens all the time. get a new one and slap it on.

Message: The resistor block may be the case if the blower is not working at all at lower speeds when you are in A/C mode or heating.
Do the lower speeds not work in either mode? Or just in A/C mode as you have stated?

Message: Yeah...it doesn't work with heat or air....if that means it is probably the blower motor resistor how much would that cost and how dificult of a repair would it be?

Message: Are these resistors located in generally the same place in most domestic cars too? I have a friend who this has happened to as well but they are too lazy to go get it checked out. What does the resistor usually look like?

Message: My A/C works at all speeds except the lowest.
Is my problem the resistor pack also?
I haven't checked if the heat works on the lowest speed, but the A/C light goes off when I set the fan to the lowest speed.

Message: on the passenger side below the glove box in my 2001. If I remember correctyl it is 2 screws and then you just unplug it. Had the same problem with mine but it was stuck in low fan speed.
