Subject: "max" position on vent IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2003 dak QC (sport +) with about 20,000 miles on it. I've noticed within the last couple days that whenever I switch the vent/ac into "max" mode (dial to the left), there is this horrible rumble. It reminds me of the the old dodge Omni I had when piece of foam fell into the circulating fan. It's starting to drive me crazy. I guess set my expectations to high. Acutallying thinking I'd get a bit more quality in a 2003 dakota 4.7 than I did a 1980 dodge omni.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Joel

Message: Yes...I have a thought: you're a belly acher. Go to the dealership and have the warranty repair it. That's why they put a warranty on ALL new vehicles (not just Dodges). They can all have a problem here and there. Use the warranty, or sit there and whine, you choose.

Message: yea quit whining and take it in under warranty. My 00 QC SLT has 92k on it and ive only spent 300.00 on repairs.I would say thats quality.

Message: Joel, pull the kick panel on the passenger side, just forward of the passenger door.(it just pops off and back on) Reach under carpet and see if you have water under there. Mine did, dealer said it was blocked by bent heat shield. I bet I find water again. They didn`t put an ellbow or seal up around the hole the drain pipe exits. It sounds like a "Mr Coffee" behind the passenger side when AC is running.(better now but still there) That might be your problem, maybe.
As for you other guys, lighten up....geeesh.
