Message: FYI, since most people seem to think that 31's will not fit on the stock 15x8 rim on a Stock 2WD 98 Dakota Club Cab (5.2), you really can. I grabbed a set of 31x10.50x15 BFG A/T KO's today and they fit fine without any rubbing whatsoever and did not have to trim anything, EVEN AT FULL LOCK!
This is just a FYI, I can up some pics to imagestation if needed.

Message: I have pretty much the same truck as you, except a 99 4 wheel drive. It came with 235's, I went up to Goodyear GS-A's 31x10.5 on the sport rims and i get some rubbing at full lock.

Message: Decided to post the pics so everyone could see. Interesting that you get some rubbing at full lock azf since your truck is a 4x4.
So many people were sure that 31's would not fit on my truck since it wasn't lifted but I didn't want to waste money on 30's when I needed tires and am going to lift the truck soon and run 31's.
The guy at the tire shop didn't think that they were going to fit and thought they would rub all over. After he mounted the fronts he turned the wheel and looked to see if it was hitting anywhere to rub at full lock and there was a lot of room. I took him for a test drive after he got the rears mounted and to his suprise, No Rubbing :)
Needless to say I've got my 31's and am ready for the lift and wheels now, I just really needed new tires as my old ones were shot.
