Subject: Name that part! IP: Logged
Message: Ok, here is a question for you all. What the heck is the steel bar that sits in front of the rear bumper do? It is mounted between the frame rails and mounted in rubber. I have the factory tow package if that helps. Never seen anything like this. My only guess is some sort of damper or to stiffen the frame rails. Anyone know for certain?

Message: I take it you have a Quad Cab. It's a vibration damper of some sort.

| Name that part - and where can I buy one??? IP: Logged
Message: Steam was coming out from under my hood and my engine was overheating - so I pulled over to take a look.
There's a black tube that goes from the radiator to the manifold(?) that is interrupted about in the middle with a hard plastic(?) connector/coupler into which the radiator cap screws.
This coupler completely broke.
I don't know what this part is called or where to find one...
Can someone help?????
Thanks!!!!!!

Message: I have no idea what that part is called, but from my
experience, a good parts person at the dealer is your
best bet. Using thier microfiche they can find anything if
you give them a good description.

Message: I noticed that thing on mine as well. It just sits in there with rubber on both ends.

Message: OK, the official scientific name of that part is:
Upper radiator hose.
And it's only available at the dealership.
I got it yesterday and installed it - easy enough once you can track it down!
