 Subject: Lost driveshaft today...vibration...

I had the mysterious vibration when decelerating at somewhat fast speeds (above 50 mph). I had a lot of slack in the drivetrain as well. I was going in Monday to have the u-joints looked at and tonight the rear u-joint let go. It broke. I pulled it out and continued home in 4wd hi to my house about a 2 miles away. Just got back from 80 mile trip.
Thought I would share.
2001 Dakota QC 4.7L 86,000 miles.

Dang, dude, guess I've been pretty lucky! I've got 305,000 miles on my '90 and never had to change to U-joints....
