Subject: Front End Wind Noise IP: Logged
Message: I have a '97 CC 4x2 SLT and there seems to be an excessive amount of wind noise that is coming from the front end. It seems as if the noise is coming from the bottom corners of the windshield (like where the windshield meets the hood). I've replaced that piece of weather stripping that is across the back side of the engine compartment and that didn't seem to affect it any! Any suggestions?

Message: Ryan,
When I speed up, mine gets noisier too. In fact, at top end, it gets the loudest. When I go real slow or stop, it stops!

Have you changed any trim that may affect it lately? It seems as though this is a new problem, or could it be you're just now noticing it? You may check the door and other window seals, as this might change the pressure on the cab. windows down change it at all?
Good luck, my slt is pretty quiet, I guess yours was too, good luck, let us know what you find.

Message: Well....it's kind of odd...I haven't changed any trim pieces at all....it seems as if the noise is outside and I can here it through the windshield.....it doesn't sound as if the air is actually getting into the cab. I guess I'll check into the door seals and see if that makes any difference....anybody else have any suggestions?
