Message: I didnt get much response on the Performance board with this question so Ill try it over here. About how much of a mpg loss should I expect when I swap 3.92 gears to 4.56's in my 2002 R/T ?

Message: May not be what you want, but I switched from 3.55's to 4.10's and I lost about 1.5 MPG on the highway. Not sure around town because your foot seems to get heavier.

Message: I have a few friends that have made this change and going from the 3.92s to the 4.56 they didn't notice a considerable loss in mpg. Since the engine doesn't have to work as hard in the city mpg may actually improve. The only situation were you would notice a loss would be steady highway driving for a long distance. But an occasional stroll down the highway will not cause much difference.
