Subject: Which door speakers? IP: Logged
Message: im thinking of buying a thunderform box for my dak (read other post :-) anyways, i guess i should replace the factory door speakers (and rears) i think i should go with 2-ways for mid and highs (what size are the speakers ...6"?) anyways..i want to go with nice sound but not sure if buying seperate highs and mids is a good idea (not for the wallet im sure)even if i did i wouldn't have a clue as to hooking that kind of set-up up. Also is there a good 4 channel amp thats not too big? (for the fronts and rears so i'd still have front/back .. side/side fader capability?)

Message: I have a 98 Dakota Sport regular cab and it has 6 1/2 inch speakers on the doors and 5 1/4 inch speakers in the rear (weird) I thought they were all 6 1/2 inches. Best way to find the speakers you want is to let your ears do the judging. Remember you get what you pay for. If price matters get Pioneer or Kenwood 2 way or 3 way speakers, decent sound for the price. If you willing to spend more I would go for Infinity Kappa Series, Polk Audio, JL or Alpine.
