Subject: Q-Logic box compatibility

Okay, I would like to know from anyone who has the sub enclosure from Q-Logic for the Club Cab Dakota what amp/sub they are using and where they have the amp mounted. I am looking at a 4 ohm 200 watt RMS speaker and would like to find an amp that will fit right next to the speaker under the seat. I have looked and I haven't really found anything that will fit in there very nicely.

I put the q-logic enclosure in about a month ago and love it. I put a 8" Rockford Fosgate Punch 2 4 ohm single voice coil sub in it. It just fit. Might be a 1/4" more room under it the way the inside of the box slants inward down towards the bottom. I also couldn't use the trim ring for the sub because it hit the seat when it was folded down. I don't see where there would be any room to put a quality amp next to the sub under the seat unless you used the spot for the jack. I put my Alpine MRP-M350 under the drivers seat. All sorts of room under there for this amp as long as you don't have power seats. Running a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP headunit also. Sounds great.

Hey thanks that is the exact sub I was thinking of putting in it, and yeah it looks like I am going to have to just put the amp elsewere because I just can't find one that will fit under the seat. Again thanks for the input!
