 Subject: Fiberglass Experts help me plz

I just built the sickest box for my truck. It holds 4 tens. I used the polar fleece to make the body of the box. But now after I have a layer of resign over the fleece, There are some parts that dont seem hard enough to withstand 4 tens hitting at once. what could I do to make it super hard?
Also, I dont know if my mask is properly rated for the fumes from the resign. What mask should i be using and where can I get it? How do I Know ones are rated for these fumes?

Fleece? That's only used to form the irregular shape,,, then you have to apply MANY layers of fiberglass to make it strong. The fiberglass sides of my QC's single 12" sub box are about 3/8" thick and it doesn't flex a bit. From what I remember it took 3-4 layers of 3 oz. mat to get it that thick, plus a couple layers of 1 and 2 oz. cloth and/or mat. If you were using 3/4 or 1 oz. mat (stuff found at Home Depot) it would take 9-16 layers to get it that thick, OUCH.
Search the internet to find out the proper process for laying down fiberglass, that's what I did.
I don't know which mask you "should" be using, but if you can smell the resin you aren't using the correct mask. I have a painters mask with replaceable filter cartriges and it does a good job with the resin, can't smell the resin until I take the mask off and never get a headache or side affects. Think it cost $30-50 at Home Depot.
If your fiberglassin, get a good mask!
