Subject: so much for speakers... IP: Logged
Message: well i guess its gonna be a while before i can get my speakers. the other day i noticed tranny fluid leaking between the tranny and the engine. well im lucky i work at a dodge dealership and could take out the tranny instead of paying someone. to make a long story short, i need a torque converter and since the clutches were kinda worn, im going to go ahead and rebuild it now while its out. its gonna cost me about $450 for parts and my buddy at work is gonna rebuild the tranny for me. it sucks but i guess it couldve been a lot worse.
o yea and on top of that, i dont get to go out and play in the snow :(

well we got the tranny apart today and found that it didnt look too bad....until we got to the overdrive unit. all the overdrive clutches had no cluch material left on them. my buddy also tells me that i really should get a front pump too and im gonna take his word for it. so that moves the price to about $650. all i can think is.........man, good thing the only labor i have to pay is to buy my buddy a 30 pack.
