Subject: Installing deck 92 Dakota IP: Logged
Message: Hey, in another post I mentioned I was installing an audio system in my truck. I got the sub box done and wired to the amp, now it is time to put the new deck in and wire it up. I haven't pulled out my stock deck, but when I bought the deck they told me I needed a wiring harness and an install kit, so I got them.
I opened the deck and wiring harness up, but I'm confused. I need to solder the matching wires on the harness to the deck, right? Like the left rear speaker lead on the harness to the matching wire on the deck..? Then once the harness is connected, I just remove the stock deck and replace it with the new one and connect the harness to the existing wires behind the deck?
Thanks..

The wiring harness kit is on the left, everything else came with the deck on the right.
