Subject: rockford subs and amps IP: Logged
Message: what does everyone here think of Rockford subs, in particular the new power stage 1 Subs? I am planning on putting in two 12's with the 1000 watt amp, which really puts out 2000 watts. How does everyone think about this set up?

Message: Fosgate has gone down in quality in the past few years, They are still a good quality product but not like they used to be.
I used to have a punch 60 (30x30) powering my 2 10" subs back in the day. Those subs pounded hard (not as hard as when I had a puch 200 hooked up to them) for the amp size, nowdays they are like everyother amp manufacture, they over rate their stuff. That punch 60 pushed those 2 10's harder then the 600watt jensen amp i had for about a week. The punch series is now what the "series 1" was back in the day.I still have a puch 45 that I got from a buddy years ago, he used to to power 4 punch 10's in his civic....nothing like running 1 ohm stable
