Message: sounds like your clipping your amp.It could be running at to low of an ohm load, kinda like your asking to much outta your amp and it cant give it so it shuts down for a couple seconds till it catches back up.Look and see if your amp has a protect light on it cause thats what its doing...kicking your amp into protect.Tell us what amp and subs and the ohm rating on the both and me or someone else could tell you how to wire them so it wont do that anymore

Message: my amp does that when i run it for a long time, i had it just about full blast for about 2 hours and it started to do that. its just because the amp get hot and it has a protection on it. so that all the money you spend on it doesnt go to waist.

Message: Well you might need to unbridge it,its bridged into a 2 ohm load and its prolly to much for your amp to take and slims right in the thing about the amp getting hot because its working to hard and it wont blow ever its just going into protection, but anyways unbridge them into there own channel and it will go away and the subs should still sound pretty good with the 250 watts a piece also if you look at the fuse in the amp and for every 10 amps its like 120 true watts...or so i've heard
