Subject: MP3 Formats? IP: Logged
Message: I just got my new sony EXPLOD 450X installed but ui can't get mp3's to play the time moves but no sound, I think I'm not using the correct format or something HELP!!!

Message: Only thing i can think is that you recorded the MP3's on a cd-rw. For some reason alot (maybe all?) of players will only allow MP3 format on a cd-r. If you look at the discription listing for the radio it should say what media you need to play MP3.

Message: I don't know about the sony but the Kenwood z828 and z919 plays mp3s with a cdr-w disc. Does the disc play ok in your computer? Do the ID tags show correctly in the cd player?
