Message: I myself have shopped around and if you want a decent sub that will handle 2 10"s, the Pioneer GM X692 is a decent buy. $179 at Crutchfield, can almost definitely get it elsewhere. Not sure how hung up on brands you are; I know that I'm not. I just like bass, not HUGE BIG PHAT bass. *L* If you want to know for SURE what the minimum is that the speakers will require, call MTX at their hotline (the # is on their webpage). I did today, and they are very helpful and knowledgable.

Message: I had a sony powering mine but just upgraded to a Kenwood that when bridged feeds it 300watts rms. Sounds good to me. These subs are actually rated at 500 watts each if I remember right. The MTX Mono sub amp is good for the money....I just did want to spend alot of cash and I have always been happy with kenwood products so I jumped on a great deal...lemme know if more info is needed,,,,I can send u some pics and links
