Message: if your talking about a blowthrough, its been done, but its expensive.
if your taking about just having your subs sitting back there, dont do it. it will sound like the subs are coming from another car, you wont be able to feel or hear them as well at all.

Message: Sure, you could make it work, but WHY!!??
Just make a weatherproofed bandpass box... It can be done, but not easily. In a bandpass box, the sub is completely enclosed, so you just have to worry about the box.

Message: My buddy has six twelve inch subs in the bed of his Dak. 2 One thousand watt amps behind the seats. His box is ported through to the cab and was fine for about two years. Then when it rained and he hit the brakes water would come forward on his tonneau and come in through the weatherproofing he had done. However, if you keep the seal around the port into and out of the box tight you should be okay
