Message: Ok here goes, I have a jvc cass deck w/ changer controls hooked to 12 disc changer. I bought a 4 chanel pioneer amp that can be bridged to 3 chanels and i have a 10" polk 4ohm sub. I see how to run the outputs but on the inputs do i just need to run 2 channels in? I want to run the 2 front speakers and the sub off the amp and the rears from the tape deck. thanx in advance drew.

Message: You can run just 2 channels in if the amp has a built in crossover, if not you'll need a 2-way active crossover (Audio Control 2XS is a good one) then use it to split the bass and highs before the amp. Wire the rears to the deck as normal by-passing the amp completely.
That's the same way my system is wired except my Clarion active crossover also has an EQ and DSP functions built in.
