Subject: Good CD Players? IP: Logged
Message: I want a to get a nice looking, good sounding cd player to put in my patriot blue 2002 4.7L RC. I dont know nothing about this kind of thing so please help me out. I talked to some guy at the audio shop and he was pointing out a Sony that plays mp3s. I dont even know what mp3's are but I thought I heard somewhere that sony is a good brand. He told me otherwise. Oh, just got a cd burner, but cannot figure out how to work it. It plays on the computer but not in a cd player. Please help. I want a cd player that fits and looks good in the dash.

Message: in my opinion, sony is over priced, but they aren't a bad quality. Since your not going to be competing i'd say that pretty much anything will work for you. Just decide what features you want and how much you want to spend. There are some that glow in colors that might match your truck. Check out crutchfield.com and have them send you a catalog. As far as your cd burner, most players will play CD-R's but not CD-RW's so make sure you have the right ones.
