I want to know is it really important to amp componets. I know they will sound better if I do.I have a 8" kicker comp VR dual voice coil in a q-logic stealth box and it hits good enough for me. I am only running stock front speakers which sounds good but, I want better sound. I have a set of JL audio componets 6 1/2 and am wondering is it best to amp them are not. I am not looking to compet or anything but do want better quality of sound.

Put an amp on them for sure. Radios only put out about 10 watts regradless of what they say.
