ok i want to power one sony explode 12" woofer
its 900 watts rated 300 watts 4 ohm
can i get away with buyin a cheapie american pro amp?or whats a cheap amp to run this?
my head unit is 50 watts x 4 so this hould be good enought o run a componet sytem up front when i geta round to iot?or maybe just 3 ways in the door or somethng?or should i look for an amp to run the subs and either the componets or 3 ways?

GET A 4 CHANNEL AMP TO RUN THE COMPONENTS AND THE SUB...USE THE TWO FRONT CHANNELS TO RUN THE COMPONENTS AND BRIDGE THE TWO REAR CHANNELS FOR THE SUB......ALSO RUN YOUR REAR SPEAKERS OFF THE HEAD UNIT POWER....MTX AND US ACOUSTICS MAKE SOME GOOD AFFORDABLE 4 CHANNEL AMPS.....

Hmmm. I really like US Acoustic amps. There affordable, reliable, sound good, and are built like tanks. I would recommend either the USX 800D, or the 600D for your sub. Check them out at www.thezeb.com

Cheapy amps are not worth the money you save. Amps aint amps. A better amp delivers smoother power and much better quality sound. Go with high quality. Many times the amp is the weak link in the system. The AMPLIFY the signal from the had unit so if they don't do that well it can really have a bad effect on the sound quality.
