Message: how much power does the audiobahn have? Class d amps are more efficient....this doesn't mean that they can't draw a huge amount of power though. If you have a stock electrical system, no upgraded alternator, extra battery(s) then you would probably want a class d. I don't have any experience with audiobahn but the 1200.1 should be a good amp for those subs. It will be underpowering them a bit though, but it should be a good amp. You going to be buying a new amp or used? if you buy a new one you should check out sounddomain. Just go to ebay get a quote from abusiness that sell them on there for like $450 and then sounddomain will pricematch it for you...and sounddomain is an authorized kicker dealer so you won't have any problems with warranty.

Message: that amp will work fine. you will be underpowering them a little. what type of box depends on you. Do you want it to get loud/sound good/or a little of both? Is space a concern? When I had my subs I had each in a 2.88cf box (5.66cf total) w/36 sq. inches of port (72" total). When you build your box don't forget to adjust the box size for port and sub displacement.

Message: Most of you sound pretty educated on this topic. Can anyone explain how to hook up a cap? I have my 4 gauge wire running through the + on the cap and to a distribution block, the power is distributed to two amps and then i grounded the two amps back to the - on the cap and had one big 4 gauge ground for it all? I've had a lot of people say i did it right and others recomending I ground 3 seperate wires.
