Message: Do you think a jbl 600.1 will push 2 12" alpine type E's and 2 10" alpine type E's. The amp is 1 ohm stable @ 1&2ohm puts out 600 Watts. The ampis under ratedi read bench mark tests that rated the amps at a little over 900 watts. Rms and peak of all 4 subs are 200 rms 600 peak. and yes i know 1 ohm can lower the life of the amp.

Message: Yeah it'll work. 1 ohm won't lower the life of that amp as it's rated to run at 1 ohm. However i don't think that amp can put out 900 watts. it's not that underrated. maybe 700 is more realistic, but you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway as that's less that a db difference.

Message: yea, it would work. but may want to move up to the BP1200. the main thing i think would be to ditch the tens and run all twelves. the ten's will cancil out some of the frequencies. Unless u run the ten's as mid bass's. The main thing i know is to run the same size and model of speak's otherwise, it's just not going to match up. Good luck though the JBL's kick ass. I'm running one BP1200 to two 18's and have taken 1st to 3rd in every compatition.

Message: i wouldn't run 2 12's and 2 10's unless you have very accurate cross over points. different size drivers will cause cancellation. if you ran 4 12's or 4 10's that amp would do it with no problem, but for the price why not just go and get the 1200.1 and make sure you wire subs into two sets of two that are wired in parallel and then wire the sets together in series, if you have single 4 ohm VC's that is the only way to do it without killing that amp

Message: I dont have any problems with cancellation. the 600.1 is pushing the subs (2 alpine 10's 2 alpine 12's) fine. It hits hard as hell to. well heres some pics let me know what you think. If you have any questions let me know.
