Message: Simple explination.. Its a filter for stereos..
Filters either the highs.. wich are voices.. or the lows wich is bass.. If your amp has a built in crossover then you dont need one.. and if it dont have one built in then yes you do.. If your using it on the sub wich i am sure you are.. any other questions ask..

Message: cheers joe on my amp iv got a button when i flick it 2 1 side it it just plays bass through the sub and when i flick it to the other side it plays bass and voices is this acting as a sort of crossover cheers m8

Message: Just one thing to add here.The crossover is probably the most underrated component of your system.It can keep your speakers clean,play louder,cleaner,and increase their longevity.Do not skimp when it comes to the crossover!
