Subject: New Amp IP: Logged
Message: Got my new Amp installed on wednesday. A Memphis ST1000. I'm runnin it with 2 DVC Kicker VR10's. I've got the speakers wired in sereis so the amp should be seeing a 1 ohm load. But it's not hitting no harder then my Kicker did runnin in 2 ohm stereo. Have I got something wired wrong ?
Appricate any input.

Message: THEY ARE 10's
sure 10's can thump, but i think you might be expecting a little too much from them. more power doesnt neccessarily mean tons louder

Message: I know their only 10's but even when I had the Kicker kooked up in a 1 ohm load(which it isn't stable at) it hit a lot harder then this amp that I bought that is stable at 1 ohm.

Message: What model kicker did you have? Did you parallel the coils and the speakers or did you series the coils and the parallel the speakers?
